Hi I don't know how many people actually are subscribed to this list.. but assuming there is a sizeable number, I'd like to suggest we start building a directory for free software in India. Frederick Noronha's article would be a great place to start building from- I have a few pages ready with those he has listed; these are on the lines of the directory built at www.gnu.org. We also need to add search capability to this. Volunteers?

Not many, the list is only a few days old. This we certainly have to do. Let us collect the information, and after first week of April I will make a web application where all of you can add and update the information.

No. Submissions would be allowed only by authenticated volunteers.
