Ramakrishnan, it seems we can emulate FSF-Europe's design and behaviour entirely in Zope (using Zope's DTML) without using the XHTML-XSLT infrastructure.
I didn't know this till I started reading the Zope Book (today :) which I should have started much earlier.
And perhaps I should have payed closer attention to Nagarjuna's posts in this matter.

If you are interested try with XSL, its real fun. (DTML is easier)
